Over time, the mod has gained many more options and features which are fully detailed in the version history at the bottom of this page, but the main points are as follows: This mod started out as a simple project with the initial main purpose of increasing the defense rating of enemy islands in order to make the game more challenging. In addition, several islands contain duplicates, so you may access a research center and be told that you already have the blueprint stored at that location.Species 1571's Deadly Islands mod for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Any blueprint listed below that indicates "passive" is required for the achievement but is not going to show in the list because they modify existing blueprints. Any notated below as "Outpost after capture" are essentially given to you upon capturing Outpost, so you don't need to find them. The blueprints are listed on the left, and can be sorted by unit type by pressing and item type by pressing. You can see your current list of blue prints by selecting the carrier, pressing to open the map if it isn't already, and pressing to open the production menu. Note that when capturing Fulcrum, you recover the AI Opponent's database, which will give you access to any blueprints missed up to that point.

If you destroy even one of the research facilities before capturing the command center and unlocking the contents, you will need to load an earlier save to avoid missing the achievement. However, you CAN destroy the building, especially if you like to take pot shots with the plasma cannon on the carrier. Every island after Outpost has a research facility that you cannot access until after capturing the command center. During the campaign as you take over islands, make sure you visit every building on every island after Outpost. This is a missable story-related achievement and can only be earned while playing the Gaea campaign.

You'll get a free random item that sometimes is really good! It's marked with a square, and once I took out the defense on the island I would always send one Walrus to it. It's not the research building, but DO capture the warehouse? building on every island. Before I saw this guide I found that some of the islands simply had nothing at the research building.Ĥ. I can't remember if it was Sanctuary, Lingard, Milestone, Duessa, or Somnus. I found that there was at least one of these with the wrong island, however I cannot remember which one! If anyone follows this guide, PLEASE comment as to which one it was. (And don't even try to use a Walrus in Marsh zones without the upgrade, it's just sad. I made the mistake of not doing so and ended up losing a fully equipped Manta because I tried to take off in a Marsh zone without the upgrade. I would recommend going for the three unit upgrades, Arctic(Endymion), Marshland(Sanctuary), and Volcanic(Styx) as soon as possible. They will be helpful, but you do get all the ones you missed up to that point when you capture Fulcrum.Ģ.

I don't think you actually have to worry about getting all the blueprints before capturing Fulcrum.
